Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across Federal, State, and Local Government markets; Build and maintain relationships with prime contractors, government stakeholders, contracting officers, and program managers; Conduct customer and partner outreach to uncover staffing, workforce, technology, and professional-services requirements; Manage opportunities from initial identification through contract award using CRM and market-intelligence platforms; Track pipeline activity, revenue targets, opportunity stages, and business development performance; Monitor Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and relevant state and local procurement requirements; Track legislative, budget, appropriations, and agency-policy developments; Monitor socio-economic and set-aside programs to inform teaming and capture strategies; Pursue positioning on relevant contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and NASPO ValuePoint; Monitor SAM.gov, state and SLED procurement portals for solicitations, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and Sources Sought notices; Develop early-stage capture strategies and win themes; Partner with recruiting and delivery teams to develop staffing solutions, resource plans, and pricing approaches; Represent the organization at industry days, procurement forums, networking events, and other public-sector business development activities; Identify opportunities before formal solicitation and build strategies that strengthen positioning throughout the procurement cycle
