These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CareerPlan, a service operated by Polynomial OÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("we", "us"), at careerplan.io. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
CareerPlan is an AI-assisted job-search tool. It aggregates job postings from third-party sources, ranks them against your CV and stated goals, generates tailored application documents, helps you track applications, and — only when you explicitly approve each one — can submit applications on your behalf. Features may change over time.
You must be at least 18. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Job listings originate from third-party sources and are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a listing is current, accurate, complete, or that a position is still open, and we are not the employer. Always confirm details on the original posting (we link to it) before applying.
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the service; scrape, copy or resell our data or platform; use the service for unlawful purposes; submit false information to employers; or attempt to gain unauthorised access. You agree to comply with the terms of any third-party site you reach through CareerPlan.
Paid plans — for job-seekers (Pro) and for recruiters (Unlimited subscription, or pay-as-you-go candidate credits) — are sold and billed through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and applicable taxes (e.g. VAT). Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period until cancelled. Candidate credits are one-time purchases that are consumed when you reveal a candidate's contact details. Prices are shown on our Pricing (job-seekers) and Recruiter Pricing pages. Cancellation and refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
The recruiter tools surface professional information about developers compiled from public sources. If you reveal a candidate's contact details, you may use them only for legitimate, good-faith recruiting outreach, and you must comply with applicable law — including data-protection (e.g. GDPR), anti-spam and employment law in your and the candidate's jurisdiction. You are an independent controller of any personal data you export. Do not resell the data, use it for bulk unsolicited marketing, or for any unlawful, discriminatory or harassing purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the tools.
The CareerPlan platform, software and brand are owned by Polynomial OÜ. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You may not copy or create derivative works of the platform.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee job offers, interviews, employment outcomes, or the accuracy of any match, score or generated document. Job search results depend on many factors outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polynomial OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, employment or income, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
