The mission is to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities in the HRTech space. The role targets mid-market clients and sets the stage for revenue growth. Key responsibilities: Identify and research target accounts in the HRTech and mid-market space. Reach out to potential clients via email, LinkedIn, calls, and events to generate qualified opportunities. Consistently create and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects to support revenue growth targets. Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and assess fit for Horizons’ EOR and payroll solutions. Partner with Account Executives to hand over high-quality leads and ensure smooth pipeline progression. Identify new market trends, customer pain points, and competitor activity. Where appropriate, move opportunities forward and close deals, gaining exposure to the full sales cycle. Requirements for the role: 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or outbound prospecting. Proven success in outbound lead generation, booking meetings and building pipeline. Strong communication skills: able to craft compelling outreach and engage decision-makers. Highly organized, resilient, and goal-driven, with the ability to manage a large volume of outreach. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.). Ambitious self-starter who wants to grow into a closing AE role over time.
