If you enjoy solving problems, helping others, and working with technology, we encourage you to apply. ## Key Responsibilities ### Technical Support and Troubleshooting - Provide remote technical support for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and related hardware. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues. - Respond to support requests through ticketing systems, email, chat, phone, and remote support platforms. - Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service. - Assist users with software installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance. - Support operating systems including Windows, macOS, and other approved platforms. - Identify root causes of technical issues and implement appropriate solutions. - Help Desk Operations - Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries. - Create, update, prioritize, and manage support tickets. - Maintain accurate records of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. - Ensure support requests are addressed within established service-level agreements (SLAs). - Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff or specialized teams when necessary. - Monitor ticket queues and follow up with users to ensure complete issue resolution. ### System and User Support - Assist users with account setup, password resets, access management, and authentication issues. - Support cloud-based applications, collaboration tools, and productivity software. - Provide guidance on technology best practices and system usage. - Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and configuring user accounts and devices. - Support remote employees with technology setup and connectivity issues. - Help maintain user documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. ### Hardware and Software Support - Install, configure, test, and maintain approved software applications. - Assist with hardware deployment, replacement, and inventory management. - Monitor device performance and recommend improvements when necessary. - Coordinate hardware repair and replacement activities. - Ensure systems are configured according to company standards and security requirements. - Support peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, webcams, and conferencing equipment. ### Network and Connectivity Support - Troubleshoot internet connectivity, VPN access, wireless networking, and remote access issues. - Assist users with network-related concerns and connectivity troubleshooting. - Support secure remote access solutions and authentication systems. - Work with network administrators and technical teams to resolve escalated networking issues. - Monitor recurring connectivity problems and recommend preventive solutions. ### Security and Compliance - Follow company cybersecurity policies and IT procedures. - Assist in implementing security best practices for end users. - Report potential security incidents, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities. - Support endpoint security measures, software updates, and system patching efforts. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and user data. - Ensure compliance with company technology standards and regulatory requirements. ### Collaboration and Continuous Improvement - Collaborate with IT teams, management, vendors, and other departments to resolve technical issues. - Participate in team meetings, technical training, and professional development activities. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance support efficiency and user satisfaction. - Share technical knowledge and best practices with colleagues. - Assist with special technology projects as assigned. ## Required Qualifications - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. - Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, technical support, computer support, or a related role. - Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. - Experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and cloud-based productivity tools. - Experience using remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems. - Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and wireless networking. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated remote workspace. ## Preferred Qualifications - Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent. - Experience supporting cloud plat
