## About the Role
We're looking for an Onboarding & Customer Success Specialist to lead customer onboarding and training across our growing network of charter operators and fleet partners. This work is often conducted on-site at the client's base.
This role is a combination of customer onboarding, ongoing relationship management, training, and operational execution. You'll work directly with customers to ensure they are successfully onboarded, confident using the platform, and set up for long-term success.
You'll be the face of Floatist during onboarding engagements, building trust with customers while helping them adopt our technology and processes.
## Responsibilities
### Customer Onboarding & Training
- Lead onboarding and training sessions for new customers and fleet partners
- Guide customers through setup, implementation, and best practices
- Ensure customers are confident and successful from day one
- Identify and address onboarding challenges before they become issues
### Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with operators, crews, and other key stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted point of contact during the onboarding process and support customer success post-onboarding
- Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to the broader team
- Create a positive onboarding experience that drives long-term retention
### Operational Execution
- Travel to marinas, charter bases, and customer locations as needed
- Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate records
- Ensure onboarding processes are followed consistently
- Help improve workflows, documentation, and customer-facing processes
### Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to make onboarding more efficient and scalable
- Share customer feedback with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams
- Help turn recurring challenges into repeatable systems and processes
## Working Hours
Full time with flexibility required to accommodate customer operations during weekends and evenings, aligned with the European time zone.
## Requirements
- 2+ years of skipper or technician experience
- Based in Croatia or Greece
- Fluent in English
- Excited to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong relationship-builder who enjoys working with customers, meeting them where they are at
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Calm under pressure and comfortable solving problems on the fly
- Excited by the opportunity to have a meaningful impact in a growing company
## Nice to Have
- Additional languages
- Experience in yacht charter, hospitality, tourism, or customer success
- Experience training customers or leading operational processes
