Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be considered in place of a bachelors degree An associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field along with two (2) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a bachelors degree AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) can each replace 0.5 years of experience CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA A+: each can replace 1 year of experience AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Engineer, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Linux+ Professional, Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), Google Professional Cloud Architect, or CISSP: each can substitute for 2 years of experience Other relevant certifications may each substitute 0.5 years of experience Proficient in Linux system administration, including command-line management, networking, and service operations Experience in Kubernetes environments, including container management, basic troubleshooting, and deployment verification Familiarity with ticketing, alerting, and incident response tools Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to clearly convey technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and resolve multiple incidents effectively under pressure
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing, resolving, and documenting complex support cases through ServiceNow, phone, and email channels, ensuring all incidents are logged and closed within SLAs Monitoring and prioritizing incidents initiated by automated alerts, adhering to established SOPs and runbooks for investigation and escalation Resolving technical issues related to Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure independently with minimal supervision, escalating only when necessary Collaborating with product and backline engineers to replicate issues, validate fixes, and improve system stability and documentation Identifying recurring trends or incidents and providing constructive feedback to engineering and process improvement teams Offering high-priority, mission-critical support to government and enterprise clients, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication throughout all incident stages Assisting in the updating and improvement of documentation, runbooks, and response procedures to continuously enhance service reliability and efficiency This position is for a day shift from 6 am to 2 pm, with a rotating weekend schedule as needed, subject to change based on business requirements
