Role Overview:
Temporary, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week) starting 1 Sep 2026, with a planned end date of Tuesday, October 31, 2028. The position is based at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) in Palma, Spain. The role involves working within the EUNICoast Office under the supervision of Dr. Pau de Vílchez Moragues.
Responsibilities:
1. Working alongside quality assurance representatives from partner universities to establish a centralised Quality Assurance Team to standardise processes and ensure alignment with the alliance’s goals.
2. Providing support to establish and manage the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC), ensuring it effectively sets, monitors and reviews quality standards across educational, research and innovation activities.
3. Designing and analysing surveys.
4. Working closely with EUNICoast’s Legal Office and other alliance bodies to ensure compliance with European higher education policies and standards, including ESG, EQF, EAQAJP and EQAR, and foster ongoing improvement.
5. Providing support in developing EUNICoast’s quality assurance systems, including KPIs, in order to assess progress, ensure quality compliance and provide strategic guidance in the development of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
6. Providing support, when required, in any of the other tasks covered by the UIB EUNICoast Office.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- Field of Study: A Degree in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration and Management or other fields ensuring the successful candidate is able to perform their duties properly.
- Experience: 1 - 4 years of research experience.
- Skills: Proven theoretical and practical skills in project quality management, impact and outreach, in addition to designing and assessing surveys.
- Languages: An accredited B2 level in English or higher (ideally). Catalan and Spanish would be a plus.
- Eligibility: Candidates with non-EU degrees must present a certificate of equivalence of their non-EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence.
