PostDoc Position in Bioorganic Chemistry (m/f/d)
Required skills
PhD in (bio)organic chemistry, chemical biology or life science; profound knowledge in synthesis of oligonucleotide-conjugates; well experienced in organic synthesis; hands-on experience in DNA-templated reactions, proximity reactions and nucleic acid detection; at least one first author paper published or accepted in a high impact journal; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive individual; excellent English skills.
Preferred skills
knowledge in context of biomolecules (proteins, peptides, nucleic acids).
Technologies
next generation sequencing; contemporary bioconjugation techniques; chemical synthesis; DNA templated proximity reactions; nucleic acid detection.
Responsibilities
Design and synthesize complex oligonucleotide-conjugates; establish DNA templated proximity reactions for initial testing of new reagent classes; collaborate with project partners from biology, analytics and the sequencing test development teams; independently plan, execute and analyze experiments; present scientific progress through internal meetings and scientific conferences.
