## About the role Establish yourself as an integral member of a pre-silicon SoC verification team, owning aspects of performance verification, and aligning with architecture, design, firmware, and emulation. Become knowledgeable on the overall SoC architecture, including tradeoffs that effect power and performance. Develop verification strategy, test plans, requirements, environments, tools, and methodologies. Apply your knowledge of performance verification principles and techniques and your judgement to write test plans and implement them by developing tests, test generators, test benches, checkers, coverage, and other verification collateral. Run tests, correlate results with architecture, debug failures to root cause, recommend fixes. Apply your growth mindset to learn and adapt in a complex and dynamic environment. Engage with partners to drive continuous improvement to the architecture, design, and verification plans/collateral, and to methodology to prevent, reduce, and/or find bugs sooner, more easily, or more reliably. Mentor and coach team members. Embody our culture and values. ## Requirements - Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience - OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience - OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience - OR equivalent experience - 3+ years of experience working on Computer Architecture and SoC design and verification principles, including using industry standard HDLs like System Verilog - 3+ years of experience developing and using verification environments in industry standard languages like SVTB UVM or formal verification - BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree - 3+ years of experience as part of a CPU, SoC and/or IP development team focusing on performance - Performance verification - ARM architecture - CPU architecture - Memory Controller/PHY IPs - DDR protocols - Coherent and non-coherent fabric IPs and protocols - PCIe Controller/PHY IPs and protocols - Working knowledge of C/C++ - Experience with emulation, constraints, and implications on performance verification - Proficient communication, collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to contribute to diverse and inclusive teams. ## Nice to have - Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Equivalent experience - Experience working on Computer Architecture and SoC design and verification principles - Experience using industry standard HDLs like System Verilog - Experience developing and using verification environments in industry standard languages like SVTB UVM or formal verification - Experience as part of a CPU, SoC and/or IP development team focusing on performance - ARM architecture - CPU architecture - Memory Controller/PHY IPs - DDR protocols - Coherent and non-coherent fabric IPs and protocols - PCIe Controller/PHY IPs and protocols - Working knowledge of C/C++ - Experience with emulation, constraints, and implications on performance verification - Proficient communication, collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to contribute to diverse and inclusive teams. ## What we offer - Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Equivalent experience - Experience working on Computer Architecture and SoC design and verification principles - Experience using industry standard HDLs like System Verilog - Experience developing and using verification environments in industry standard languages like SVTB UVM or formal verification - Experience as part of a CPU, SoC and/or IP development team focusing on performance - ARM architecture - CPU architecture - Memory Controller/PHY IPs - DDR protocols - Coherent and non-coherent fabric IPs and protocols - PCIe Controller/PHY IPs and protocols - Working knowledge of C/C++ - Experience with emulation, constraints, and implications on performance verification - Proficient communication, collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to contribute to diverse and inclusive teams. ## About us - Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Equivalent experience - Experience working on Computer Architecture and SoC design and verification principles - Experience using industry standard HDLs like System Verilog - Experience developing and using verification environments in industry standard languages like SVTB UVM or formal verification - Experience as part of a CPU, SoC and/or IP development team focusing on performance - ARM architecture - CPU architecture - Memory Controller/PHY IPs - DDR protocols - Coherent and non-coherent fabric IPs and protocols - PCIe Controller/PHY IPs and protocols - Working knowledge of C/C++ - Experience with emulation, constraints, and implications on performance verification - Proficient communication, collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to contribute to diverse and inclusive teams.
