Managed Services IT Engineer
Salary: $50,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:
We want someone with at least 3 years of IT support experience. MSP experience is preferred. We need strong Microsoft 365 expertise. Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD is required. We are looking for networking knowledge across DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless technologies. Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities are important. Experience with ConnectWise, SonicWall, VMware, Microsoft Azure, or comparable platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities:
We troubleshoot advanced Microsoft 365 issues, including mail flow, Conditional Access, authentication, Teams Voice, SharePoint permissions, licensing conflicts, service plans, and hybrid identity. We diagnose and resolve networking problems such as wireless access points, VLAN assignments, switch ports, intermittent connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and network device configuration. We investigate backup failures, carry out restore testing and validation, and respond to endpoint security alerts. We support cybersecurity remediation efforts and assist with threat investigations. We act as an escalation point for NOC Technicians and handle advanced Tier 2 support issues. We perform root cause analysis and help improve documentation and operational workflows. We support infrastructure projects and client onboarding activities.
