Pricing Architect
About the Role
We're an early-stage AI-powered pricing optimization SaaS startup helping B2B companies turn pricing from a static exercise into a continuously improving, data-driven system. Our platform spans the full pricing lifecycle — from packaging and price architecture to deal execution and sales coaching — and we're growing fast.
We're looking for a Pricing Architect based in Amsterdam to own high-impact pricing engagements with our customers end-to-end. This is a senior, client-facing role at the intersection of commercial strategy, AI, and SaaS monetization. You'll work directly with C-suite stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design and deliver pricing strategies that drive real revenue outcomes.
What You'll Do
• Lead customer pricing engagements independently — from initial discovery through to a live pricing and proposition model.
• Design segmentation frameworks, packaging structures, price metrics, and monetization logic tailored to each customer's business context.
• Apply advanced pricing methods including willingness-to-pay analysis, price elasticity modeling, discount architecture, and usage-based or consumption pricing.
• Present findings and recommendations confidently to C-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Leverage AI and GenAI/LLM tools actively in your day-to-day work to accelerate analysis and insight generation.
• Use data (spreadsheets, SQL) to dig into pricing analysis and support evidence-based recommendations.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing pricing expertise across the team.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
• 5–7+ years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management — from a Tier 1 strategy consulting background or a pricing/revenue role within a tech or SaaS company.
• Deep expertise in pricing and commercial value creation: segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and willingness-to-pay methodologies.
• Strong client-facing skills; comfortable owning engagements and building credibility with C-level and cross-functional audiences.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and confidence in steering AI-driven work (no need to build models yourself).
• Hands-on use of GenAI/LLM tools in your current workflow.
• Solid data skills — proficient with spreadsheets and SQL for pricing analysis.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the Netherlands — visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have:
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
• Background in SaaS monetization models (usage-based, seat-based, hybrid, outcome-based).
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
• Meaningful equity through an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP).
Location
This is an on-site role based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam. No visa sponsorship is available — you must already be authorized to work in the Netherlands.
