Pricing Architect
About the Role
We're a small, fast-moving team building an AI-native pricing platform that helps B2B SaaS companies transform pricing from a static exercise into a continuously optimized, revenue-generating system. Our platform covers the full pricing lifecycle — from segmentation and packaging design to deal guidance and real-time sales coaching.
As a Pricing Architect, you'll own customer engagements end-to-end — from initial discovery through live pricing model deployment and ongoing optimization. You'll sit at the intersection of customer success, commercial strategy, and product development, acting as the most senior pricing expert in the room for our customers while shaping the platform itself.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role at a small team where your work will be visible, measurable, and consequential from day one.
What You'll Do
• Own pricing engagements end-to-end — from discovery and solution design through pilot, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
• Lead customer workshops independently, including alignment sessions and market research.
• Design segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting structures, and monetization logic tailored to each customer's business model.
• Drive continuous value capture and pricing optimization as customers scale.
• Serve as a trusted pricing advisor to operator stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Set expectations, align on commercial value, and measure and communicate impact.
• Identify expansion opportunities and convert them into upsells.
• Use the AI-powered pricing platform daily to solve real customer problems and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Provide continuous, specific product feedback to improve AI recommendations and inform product priorities.
• Partner closely with product and engineering to sharpen the pricing engine and tooling.
• Support rollout and change management, including onboarding sales teams to improve execution.
• Capture and document learnings to help build a repeatable, scalable Pricing Architect practice.
• Participate in sales pitches and help identify and advance prospective customer deals.
What We're Looking For
Required:
• 5–7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management — ideally from Tier-1 strategy consulting or a pricing/revenue leadership role in tech/SaaS.
• Deep expertise in pricing and commercial value creation: segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and willingness-to-pay methodologies.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end work streams — from concept through execution — with strong attention to quality.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable influencing C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on comfort with data and analysis tools (spreadsheets, SQL) to support and validate pricing decisions.
• Demonstrated experience using GenAI/LLM tools in day-to-day work, with the ability to steer AI-driven projects.
• Experience coaching or mentoring others and thriving in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments.
• Professional fluency in English.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with usage-based, consumption, or hybrid pricing models.
• Familiarity with CPQ systems or pricing governance design.
• Background in building or scaling a professional services or advisory function at an early-stage company.

• Equity: Meaningful equity stake via an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)
• Benefits: Market-competitive benefits package
• Visa sponsorship: Not available
