Responsibilities
Provide daily operational leadership and maintain visible presence across dining facilities; Supervise and direct Dining Staffing Manager, Assistant Director, and Supervisors; Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily employee deployments; Manage recruiting, hiring, orientation, and onboarding; Handle employee relations, labor meetings, and union CBA implementation; Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports; Oversee operations of Gordon Commons, The Retreat, The Express, Street Eats, and Catering; Monitor labor utilization and operational expenses; Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food allergy policies; Coordinate with Facilities and campus partners for equipment and maintenance needs; Collaborate with Executive Chef on service execution; Respond to student and customer concerns; Participate in planning meetings and committees; Support development of training and service standards.
