Responsibilities
Own U.S. recruiting operations including hiring intake, interview coordination, offers, and closing; Manage remote-first onboarding from offer acceptance through 90-day follow-up; Process promotions, job changes, leaves, and maintain accurate digital personnel files; Own offboarding activities including exit documentation and HRIS termination processing; Serve as primary HR owner for U.S., Japan, and European contractors; Act as first point of contact for employee inquiries and escalate sensitive matters; Manage day-to-day U.S. benefits administration including enrollment, life events, and vendor issues; Support benefits selection, renewals, and plan-design discussions; Develop and deliver employee education on benefits; Partner with HR leadership on culture, engagement, and learning initiatives; Design and facilitate training programs for new managers and performance conversations; Coach managers through performance conversations and handle first-line employee relations matters; Coordinate the annual U.S. performance cycle including timelines and calibration preparation; Support accommodations, leaves, policy updates, and compliance-sensitive processes.
