Responsibilities
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Facilitates and optimizes technology service delivery between CMBC business units and TransLink’s Business Technology Services. Serves as the operational point of contact for intake, triage, prioritization, escalations, and stakeholder communications at CMBC, and analyzes CMBC specific business requirements and develops technology solution proposals to support the selection of appropriate technology.
Key Accountabilities
Aligns CMBC business requirements with technology products and services currently provided by Business Technology Services (BTS), and identifies requests that represent new, unique or emerging needs not met by existing internal solutions or expertise
Proactively leverages knowledge of CMBC teams, processes, and existing enterprise technologies to recommend improvements, efficiencies, and technology enabled solutions tailored to departmental needs.
Collaborates with CMBC stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and improvement opportunities, and assesses how technology can enable efficiencies and support desired outcomes; defines business requirements and evaluates value, impact, risks, and required investment.
Validates business needs and prepares CMBC-specific business case information demonstrating alignment with strategic objectives; clearly documents requirements, analysis, findings, and agreements.
Maintains current knowledge of technology products and market trends, as well as a strong understanding of enterprise technologies available within CMBC, in order to evaluate solution options and recommend those that best meet business needs for CMBC.
Leads and supports CMBC initiatives and projects that utilize existing enterprise technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform), including engaging with project teams, developing project deliverables, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle where no new BTS services are required.
Collaborates with, and acts as the key bridging relationship resource among various CMBC departments and technology specialists; provides process and planning expertise to business leaders; notifies management and key stakeholders in real-time of important developments, potential problems and related information. Fosters and maintains relationships with both CMBC stakeholders and internal BTS services providers and stakeholders to ensure knowledge is current and aligned with product, business and governance strategies
Support projects as needed, including engaging with project teams, developing project management deliverables and documentation, and collaborating with project stakeholders as needed throughout project lifecycles.
Evaluates solution options, outlining advantages and disadvantages, and recommends viable business solutions. Translates technical concepts into clear, business focused language to bridge communication between BTS and CMBC stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
Prepares and delivers professional presentations and business reports that support the processes that plan and deliver technology solutions.
Prepares and delivers support and training materials for CMBC (job aids, demonstrations, workshops) related to technology solutions to highlight possibilities for employee productivity and efficiency gains and to ensure successful adoption by business stakeholders and their teams.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
The requirements for this position are acquired through completion of a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, plus six (6) years of information technology and business analysis in a complex environment with enterprise systems, and multi-stakeholder projects.

Rate of Pay
The salary for this position ranges from $84,480 - $126,720 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.
