Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a prospect pool for new and existing annual and major gifts; Design and implement development strategies to build a portfolio; Determine annual work plan goals in consultation with leadership; Track fundraising activity in the CRM; Plan and execute solicitation strategies leading to annual and major gifts; Prepare proposals, solicitation letters, gift agreements, and other development materials; Complete in-person and virtual donor visits; Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of department mission and programs to communicate funding opportunities; Develop and participate in implementing annual stewardship plans for donors; Work with faculty and institutional leaders to engage them as fundraising partners; Partner with team members on planning and execution of development activities including professorship dedications and lectureships; Represent school/division on committees and at institution-wide programming; Analyze data at a high level to identify prospects and track progress toward work plan goals; Assist with coordination and staffing of the IBBS Advisory Council; Foster partnerships with other departments to identify joint-interest donor opportunities.
