Requirements:
We require U.S. citizenship for this federal role. We must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance. You must reside in the United States, and the work must be performed within the United States. You need 3+ years of software development experience. You need 1+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions. We prefer 1+ years of experience with CSM or ITSM. We prefer 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations. We prefer 1+ years of scripting experience beyond basic ServiceNow scripts. We prefer 1+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments. We prefer certification in one or more additional mainline ServiceNow credentials. We prefer hands-on experience configuring or building three or more ServiceNow applications. We prefer in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices. We prefer familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management principles. We prefer strong scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript. We prefer strong technical capabilities in workflow configuration and business rule development. We prefer experience customizing user interfaces and building complex workflows. We prefer understanding of integration techniques with external systems. We prefer an active DHS or DoW clearance. We value detail-oriented thinking, strong problem-solving ability, and analytical skills. We value the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
We work closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to capture business outcomes and functional needs, then turn them into effective ServiceNow solution designs. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions aligned to the design and industry best practices. We develop and maintain complex scripts, business rules, and UI policies. We support data migration planning and execution from legacy systems into ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy and consistency. We validate that data is mapped to the most effective ServiceNow data structures and favor out-of-the-box schemas before creating custom tables and fields. We assist architects and senior developers with integrating ServiceNow and other systems to create seamless end-to-end processes. We produce detailed technical documentation covering configurations, customizations, data schemas, and key design decisions. We conduct thorough testing to verify functionality, data integrity, and user experience, and we make adjustments as needed. We support end-user training to drive adoption of the implemented solution. We assist with change management during transition periods by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly. We troubleshoot and resolve technical problems tied to ServiceNow implementations. We partner with support teams to deliver timely incident and problem resolution. We follow security best practices and help ensure solutions meet compliance requirements. We stay current on new ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices through ongoing learning and certification. We coordinate closely with project managers, implementation specialists, and stakeholders, sharing regular updates on risks, issues, successes, and project status.
