HR Marketing Communications Manager

We are seeking an HR Marketing Communications Manager for First Quality Enterprises, LLC. This fully remote position is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing and communications strategies that support First Quality's people strategy. The HR Marketing and Communications Manager owns the development and activation of First Quality's Employee Value Proposition (EVP), using it as the foundation for external recruitment marketing efforts that attract top talent and internal communications strategies that keep employees informed, connected, and engaged. This role operates as a channel strategist and content executor, bringing the EVP to life across social media, job boards, the career site, paid advertising, and enterprise-wide internal communications while upholding the First Quality brand across all people-focused efforts.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Lead and execute the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) development process, including research, stakeholder engagement, design, and implementation, to ensure a compelling and authentic representation of our employee experience and culture both internally and externally.
• Build and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies and execution plans aligned to First Quality's people strategy and corporate priorities, including ownership of the employee newsletter, digital and print channels, and an enterprise internal communications calendar.
• Develop and execute integrated recruitment marketing strategies that attract talent and strengthen employer brand reputation across multiple platforms and audiences, including leadership of paid ad campaigns, job board partnerships, and career site presence.
• Partner with HR and cross-functional leadership to design and deliver internal employer brand initiatives that bring the EVP to life for current employees, fostering pride, engagement, and advocacy across the organization.
• Lead the research, discovery, and piloting of new recruitment marketing programs, technologies, and communication channels to continuously enhance talent attraction, employee engagement, and retention.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market job fair strategy tailored to a divisional organization, aligning messaging, materials, and engagement approaches to effectively reach multiple target audiences.
• Partner with the commercial marketing communications team on First Quality's enterprise social media strategy and editorial calendar, driving both talent attraction and employee engagement while ensuring alignment on company voice and brand.
• Monitor and analyze employer brand and employee sentiment internally and externally, leveraging tools such as social listening, employee engagement surveys, retention metrics, and traditional media monitoring to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of recruitment marketing, employer branding, and internal communications initiatives, tracking impact on application rates, engagement, retention, and employee advocacy, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Manage relationships with external partners including agencies, vendors, and consultants, while fostering a sense of community and brand advocacy among employees and candidates through EVP-aligned content and engagement strategies.
• Lead the marketing and communications strategy for First Quality's employee charitable and recognition programs, including the United Way match campaign, annual fundraising initiatives, and veteran employee recognition efforts, driving awareness, participation, and engagement across the organization.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, human resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, internal communications, or a related field; manufacturing or consumer products industry experience a plus.
• Previous experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with proven ability to craft compelling content and messaging across multiple formats, channels, and audiences.
• 3+ years of professional copywriting and copyediting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including paid and owned media, SEO, retargeting, landing page optimization, and content marketing, with a proven track record of driving brand growth, engagement, and talent attraction.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and ROI across both communications and recruitment marketing efforts.
• 2+ years of experience with social media management, editorial calendar planning, and social listening across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. Experience with social listening platforms a plus.
• Background in graphic design preferred, with proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing tools, including the ability to develop short-form social content.
• Highly collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally across HR, marketing, and business units.
• French language proficiency a plus.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work with short deadlines and competing demands.
• Strong accountability and completion of tasks without close supervision.
• Embraces an entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to explore new ideas, the tenacity to drive to execution, and flexibility to take on different roles and duties as required.
• Normal mobility, manual dexterity, normal visual and auditory ability.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language and perform basic mathematical skills.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
