Required skills
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, 15+ years’ experience in SOC/VLSI bring-up, production, characterization, and test engineering, Excellent working knowledge of Advantest 93000 tester (Smartest 7 and 8) or similar for characterization and production testing, Highly skilled in writing code in C, C++, Java, 93k test methods, PERL, and Python
Preferred skills
Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art DFT insertion techniques, including Scan, ATPG, JTAG, MBIST, PVT, and SerDes, Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction activities, Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; excellent problem-solving and effective conflict resolution skills, Effective multi-functional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and leadership to drive results and change across organizations up to the executive level

Responsibilities
Partner with the Cisco ASIC team to bring up tests, characterize units, and release the test program to production, Support pattern generation/debugging, identify gaps in test coverage, and design and implement new tests to improve coverage, Work with Tier-1 OSATs to manage high-volume manufacturing tests and quality issues, Collaborate with ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group, peer Test Engineers in Silicon Operations, and Cisco Systems NPI teams, Work closely with Cisco’s manufacturing partners to triage failures and manage OSAT production test activities, Ensure test programs are production-ready and manufacturing quality is maintained
