Sr. Solutions Architect, Enterprise Applications - SAP

## Responsibilities - Lead or Support technical engagements with SAP customers in the India region. - Focus on SAP within AWS, delivering strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's web services across the India SAP customer and partner base. - Act as an Amazon ambassador in customer and partner engagements. - Working directly with customers to develop cloud migration and/or adoption strategies as it relates to their business critical SAP systems and data strategy. - Lead Cross portfolio solution offerings for SAP customers. - Operate with an AI first mindset. Develop a deep understanding of the AWS AI solutions and bring a perspective to customers on best approaches to deliver value and differentiate with AWS AI capabilities. - Work with customers to co-develop AI use cases which leverage enterprise data (SAP) to deliver business value - Applying deep technical skill in both SAP solutions (including RISE with SAP) and cloud computing, as well as customer facing skill, to represent AWS in public speaking forums. - Strategic customer assessments of SAP business, product, and technical challenges. - Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying, running and managing SAP solutions on AWS. - Key membership of SAP on AWS Go-To-Market team working to ensure SAP customer success on the AWS platform (post live advisory and support). - Significant travel may be required. ## Requirements - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - Knowledge of SAP applications, server technology, and network security - 5+ years of customer-facing environment, or 5+ years of retail or customer facing experience - Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills - Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration or upgrades. - Experience or deep knowledge in SAP High Availability architectures, SAP Backup and Recovery. - Demonstrated knowledge in architecting, deploying, and the operation of SAP solutions. - Functional knowledge of having worked/implemented SAP applications, SAP BTP/BDC etc ## Nice to Have - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs - Experience working with end user or developer communities - Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners - Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private - Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystems (including Bedrock, AgentCore, and SageMaker) to set up secure, private-network AI environments, and practical experience implementing Retrieva ## Benefits - Opportunity to work with SAP and AWS to shape cloud strategies for enterprise customers. - Collaborative environment with a focus on customer success and innovation. - Travel opportunities to engage with customers and partners across the India region.
