Key Accounts and Business Development Manager (DACH/BENELUX for Valpes) (m/w/d)
You Develop a portfolio of prospects, Key Accounts and prescribers in a given area in line with commercial policy. Main KPI's: sales forecast, sales volume, turnover and commercial margin
Your Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize Key Accounts.
• Develop and optimize the existing network and prospect new customers.
• Prescribe our products and brands toOEMs, design offices, engineering firms, installers, integrators, end customers (Industry)
• Visit Key Accounts and customers, support them in their sales actions, train salespeople and decision-makers.
• Support and technically train Watts teams - (ICO)
• Manage the tracking of price offers
• Organize and ensure factory visits
• Organize trade shows
• Promote and present our range of products at professional days or trade shows
• Carry out after-sales service interventions with the support of the technical service and manage disputes with the after-sales service
• Participate in the development of the activity budget in your area and implement proactive management of the activity
• Mobilize and manage internal contacts to ensure quality of service, compliance with commitments to the customer and projects for strategic/niche markets
• Support design offices in the choice of technical developments through the voice of the customer and knowledge of market opportunities
• Analyze the results, propose and deploy corrective action plans in the event of deviations or to anticipate them by applying commercial policy
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or business administration; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in B2B sales, including demonstrable leadership experience in senior sales roles with a track record of consistently meeting targets.
• Proven leadership experience in cross-border sales teams within the DACH region.
• Strong commercial and entrepreneurial acumen with responsibility for revenue, margins, and regional performance.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies, as well as to manage complex customer and stakeholder landscapes.
• Confident and persuasive communication skills, particularly when interacting with senior management and executive-level stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with structured, data-driven decision-making.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to position differentiated solutions in highly competitive markets.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant markets and business models, including the OEM and wholesale sectors.
• Fluent in German and English, French appreciated
