Remote Java/Node DevOps Developer
Salary: $92,000 - 118,000 per year
Requirements:
Experience with Java, OpenShift, and NodeJS for building and supporting customer experience applications. Background across multiple domains such as healthcare or financial services is preferred. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies is preferred. Exposure to mobile design, including native and mobile web, is a plus. Experience with Foundation is a plus. Knowledge of web accessibility standards and requirements is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Develop, program, and code technology solutions using Java, OpenShift, and NodeJS. Work through the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, outage response, and application modeling. Document detailed system specifications and support performance testing and maintenance for both custom-built and purchased applications. Join design discussions, consult with clients, and troubleshoot or refine programs to align with business needs. Coordinate with third-party partners to advance business and technology initiatives when needed. Embed IT controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data. Manage production and non-production infrastructure tasks such as Windows patching, certificate updates, and password rotations. Provide ongoing support and remediation for EVMP-related servers and applications across environments. Handle release management for JIVA and Care applications using BART, Jenkins, and OpenShift. Oversee critical production data loads for member, provider, and benefits data. Monitor production systems and respond to alerts through tools such as Splunk, Nimsoft, and Control-M. Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities. Participate in 24/7 on-call support. Assist with audit and compliance efforts, including SOC2, IA, and High Trust. Support InterQual and Episode Management System upgrades and patches. Assist with Service Delivery and Linux infrastructure upgrades in both production and non-production environments.
