Remote Access Security Engineer
Salary: $77,600 - 176,000 per year
Requirements:
2+ years of experience with enterprise remote access, VPN, or Zero Trust technologies Experience assisting or collaborating within technical teams Familiarity with remote access monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools Understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and technologies Knowledge of SASE platforms and cloud-based security services Proficiency in networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing fundamentals, firewall policies, and identity-based access controls Capability to adhere to operational procedures and support compliance with security policies Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities:
Elevate the organizations secure remote access strategies within the Application Delivery Networking team Implement, sustain, and troubleshoot enterprise remote access solutions Assist in deploying solutions rooted in Zero Trust principles, such as ZTNA and SASE Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to ensure compliance and reliability in hybrid and cloud environments Document processes and remain updated on emerging technologies pertaining to Zero Trust operations Support automation initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers Resolve technical issues while adhering to established operational procedures
