Responsibilities

Maintain stable operation of NOC monitoring and reporting infrastructure; provide dedicated IT support for NOC laptops, desktops, and video display systems; serve as subject matter expert for NOC-supporting applications; design, build, and maintain custom interfaces within existing platforms; enable accurate performance metric and KPI collection; work closely with IT engineering, RF engineering, IP engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and product development; identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to networks and applications; use metrics and trend analysis to reduce MTTR and improve network performance; support knowledge management, coaching, IT service management improvements, and customer reporting initiatives; assist Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams with troubleshooting, escalation, and service restoration; provide backup support to the NOSC Specialist and/or Shift Supervisor; perform network monitoring, device commissioning, service activations, fault detection and resolution, problem escalation, and performance reporting for IP, VoIP, and RF satellite services; act as the technical liaison between the NOC and supporting engineering groups; identify knowledge gaps within the NOC team and develop and deliver training to strengthen team capability and performance
