Requirements:
We need a bachelors degree. We need at least 3 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines, including integration with open-source plugins. We need at least 3 years of experience working in DevOps, Agile, or Scrum environments. We need at least 5 years of hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration, and automation tools in AWS environments. We need at least 5 years of experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in AWS cloud environments. We need at least 2 years of experience identifying and implementing automation for continuous integration and continuous deployment. We need at least 5 years of experience writing infrastructure as code with Terraform. We need the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance. We need to reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform all work within the United States. We need to have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years. We need strong written and verbal communication skills. We need strong attention to detail. Preferred: experience with Java software development. Preferred: experience with Datadog. Preferred: working knowledge of Linux. Preferred: knowledge of multi-account architecture and tools such as AWS Control Tower, SCPs, GuardRails, and Transit Gateways. Preferred: broad technical exposure that may include cloud architecture, cloud migrations, application development, networking, security, storage, analytics, or machine learning. Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification. Preferred: familiarity with NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Common Criteria regulations and standards. Preferred: familiarity with MLOps, the machine learning lifecycle, and related tools such as Amazon SageMaker, Apache Airflow, Looker, and Trifacta.
Responsibilities:
We implement cloud-based solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code. We deploy, configure, and operate infrastructure for various AWS services using tools such as Terraform. We partner with technical stakeholders across application development, networking, infrastructure, information security, risk, enterprise identity and access management, and security operations. We improve and automate application and infrastructure environments. We collaborate on building cloud infrastructure with an understanding of AMIs, containers, and serverless functions. We develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for features, fixes, and system updates across development, integration, and production environments. We set up, integrate, and maintain scalable CI/CD tooling for development, testing, and security scanning. We implement monitoring solutions such as Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk, and other third-party tools to support continuous visibility into system health, performance, application errors, and metrics. We analyze functional and non-functional business needs, convert them into technical operational requirements, and recommend CI/CD pipeline designs with suitable tools and plugins. We contribute as part of a small team delivering high-impact work.
