Mid-Level Systems Engineer - Saint Louis

Salary: $112,000 - 151,800 per year
Requirements:
We require a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non-U.S. qualification directly related to the role. We require an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. We require at least 5 years of engineering experience. We require U.S. Person status for export control compliance. We require eligibility to meet our conflict of interest assessment process. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Responsibilities:
We apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle-balanced system-of-systems and system solutions. We assess customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements, align technical parameters, and ensure compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces. We perform analyses to optimize overall system architecture and system-of-systems performance. We evaluate affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance factors to support mission success. We develop, maintain, and improve requirements management processes, tools, risk tracking, issue management, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment activities. We resolve cross-functional technical issues. We use data analytics to monitor trends, coordinate maintenance, and help guide parts replacement cycles. We partner with suppliers, subject matter experts, and field support representatives to improve aircraft availability and fleet health. We focus on Diagnostics and Health Management for the F-22 while supporting the Reliability and Maintainability team. We work with the U.S. Air Force and internal/external stakeholders to refine modernization and sustainment practices across the F-22 fleet.
