Senior Associate, Software Engineering

Salary: $74,500 - 160,000 per year
Requirements:
We are looking for a bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline, plus relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience. We need strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities. We require the ability to perform effectively in a mission-driven team setting. We require an active Top Secret clearance with SCI access, or SCI eligibility. Preferred experience includes triaging deployed software in operational or production settings. Preferred technical experience includes Java, C++, or Python development. Preferred background includes working in Linux environments. Preferred experience includes deploying or supporting applications in Kubernetes. Preferred exposure includes DoD, IC, or other national security mission environments. Preferred familiarity includes Agile software development practices. Preferred communication skills include strong written and verbal abilities.
Responsibilities:
We assess, troubleshoot, and triage software already deployed in operational environments. We develop, maintain, and improve software applications using Java, C++, and Python. We support software deployment, integration, and sustainment activities in Linux-based environments. We diagnose and resolve software defects, performance concerns, and system integration issues. We collaborate with cross-functional engineering and mission teams to deliver dependable software capabilities. We support debugging, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for fielded systems. We participate in software design, code reviews, testing, and configuration management activities. We ensure our software solutions satisfy mission, security, and performance expectations.
