Review customer-supplied specifications to determine manufacturability or supply feasibility, read and interpret electrical drawings (single-lines, three-lines, elevations, control schematics, site plans, enclosure layouts), prepare detailed proposals based on customer documentation and technical reviews, identify and communicate application concerns before proposal development, translate conceptual customer designs into meaningful proposals, optimize proposed solutions, write clear technical comments, serve as a technical resource for Sales, evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals, assess risks associated with subcontractor and vendor offerings, collaborate with other divisions to develop cross-business solutions, lead projects requiring input from multiple Application Engineers, participate in sales and marketing activities including client meetings and conferences, contribute to cost-reduction initiatives, carry out analytical and competitive market studies, contribute to new and existing product specifications
