Technical Writer - Technical Documentation Expert

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED Over 5 years of experience in technical writing, particularly related to DoD Technical Documents preparation and editing Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams applications Familiarity with S-1000-D formatting Background in administrative functions U.S. Citizenship with an active and current Secret Clearance
Responsibilities:
Create and refine content for reports, briefs, and various technical publications Structure materials and fulfill writing tasks adhering to standards of organization, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology Execute technical writing duties under the guidance of senior writers or supervisors using designated formats and reference materials Gather and integrate technical data from engineering and production teams to review documentation, ensuring comprehension necessary for writing assignments Occasionally handle independent projects that involve research and preparation of briefing slides and other presentation formats Support administrative tasks and additional assistance as needed
