Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise ServiceNow applications; Design and develop business rules, script includes, REST/SOAP integrations, UI actions, custom applications, workflows, Flow Designer automation, and platform services; Define scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across ITSM and other ServiceNow modules; Collaborate with process owners, business analysts, technical teams, and vendors to shape requirements, solution designs, implementation plans, and platform roadmaps; Set platform engineering standards for security, performance, reliability, maintainability, upgrade safety, and alignment with ServiceNow best practices; Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and deployment activities; Troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, provide technical mentoring, and offer escalation support; Establish and enforce platform governance, development standards, release controls, technical documentation, and architectural decision processes; Lead platform upgrades, patch readiness, regression planning, technical impact assessments, and remediation of upgrade-related findings; Manage and prioritize the technical enhancement and defect backlog; Lead new service implementations and modernization initiatives involving CMDB, HAM, SAM, integrations, service catalog, workflow automation, reporting, and operational dashboards
