Automation Developer

Salary: $100,000 - 150,100 per year
Requirements:
Strong enterprise experience with Automation Anywhere (A360) Hands-on background developing and supporting Microsoft Power Automate solutions Proven track record in production support, incident handling, and bot operations Experience integrating with SAP ECC, ideally in finance or operations contexts Solid knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration architecture Working experience with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or VBScript Experience managing SQL databases and handling data Strong understanding of deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management practices Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline Preferred: around 5 years of RPA and automation development experience Preferred: experience modernizing RPA solutions into API-driven integrations Preferred: exposure to webMethods or similar enterprise integration platforms Preferred: experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power BI Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for RPA Preferred: knowledge of AI or intelligent automation Preferred: working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methods Preferred: domain experience in finance, supply chain, procurement, or logistics workflows
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Automate Build reusable automation components, frameworks, and scalable workflows Assess business processes and identify opportunities for automation Conduct code reviews, debugging, testing, optimization, and performance tuning Act as the main contact for bot support and day-to-day RPA operations Monitor bot runs, investigate incidents, and resolve production issues promptly Manage support tickets, perform break-fix work, and maintain operational continuity Carry out minor enhancements, configuration adjustments, and credential updates Ensure high availability and dependable performance of business-critical automations Design and support integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP ECC, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Jira Develop and maintain API-based integrations using REST and SOAP services Modernize legacy, UI-dependent automations into more secure and scalable API-driven solutions Collaborate with integration platforms such as webMethods or equivalent tools Create and maintain PDDs, SDDs, runbooks, and operational documentation Apply best practices for testing, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management Ensure adherence to security, governance, and audit standards Support CI/CD practices and version control processes using Git and Azure DevOps Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, QA, and IT teams Contribute to RPA roadmap planning, maturity efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives Share knowledge and provide support to internal teams
