Hardware Engineer with embedded systems expertise

Salary: $65,000 - 105,000 per year
Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of relevant experience in hardware development and testing. Background in testing electronic, automotive, aerospace, or vehicle components. Proficiency in design tools such as Altium for PCBA and 3DExperience or Catia for modeling. Practical experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, environmental chambers, and spectrum analyzers; familiarity with Ubuntu and Python is crucial.
Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and implement testing procedures for component and system-level hardware. Collaborate with suppliers, design teams, and system engineers to assess the functional performance of hardware components. Conduct testing on early prototypes and qualification assessments for modules intended for use in vehicles. Design and create custom test setups such as load simulators, test harnesses, and Python scripts. Prepare and present test plans, design reviews, and data evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
