Hardware Engineer - Bedford
Salary: $95,900 - 95,900 per year
Requirements:
We want experience across all phases of the hardware product development lifecycle. We are looking for hands-on microcontroller architecture design experience with ST, Microchip, or TI platforms. We need background in analog and mixed-signal design, including ADC and DAC circuitry and signal conditioning. We value experience with operational amplifier and discrete-component analog circuit design. We prefer knowledge of AC-DC and DC-DC power supply design. Familiarity with interfaces such as RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, UART, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee would be an advantage. We require knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance for automotive products. We expect proficiency with PCB and design tools such as ORCAD, ALLEGRO, ALTIUM, or PADS. We also value experience using lab equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers. We require a bachelors degree.
Responsibilities:
We will rely on you to research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components. You will create new hardware designs and prepare schematics for equipment to be built. You will test completed hardware prototypes and evaluate their performance. You will review test outcomes and refine designs as needed. You will update existing computer equipment so it can support new software. You will oversee the manufacturing process for computer hardware.
