Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects including server replacements, migrations, and decommissions. Schedule and complete specialized maintenance windows including after-hours patching and cutovers. Diagnose and resolve complex network problems across multi-site environments. Rebuild and document poorly documented networks and IT environments. Serve as technical contact for carriers and vendors including ISPs and hardware providers. Act as senior escalation point for hardware, server, and cloud issues. Guide on-site technicians and field engineers with remote support direction. Configure and support Microsoft 365 and Azure workloads in a senior capacity. Manage endpoint and policy settings through Group Policy and MDM/RMM tools. Act as trusted technical advisor for client CIOs and IT managers. Produce documentation for audit and compliance requirements. Handle privileged access and credentials responsibly. Travel to client sites in Southern Manitoba and participate in occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance.
