Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of pertinent experience is required. 9 years of expertise in RF Design and Architecture with a focus on Cryptography/Information Assurance. 5 years of experience in system-level design, integration, testing, and certification of cryptographic devices. 5 years of proficiency in cryptographic algorithms and protocols. 5 years of experience with standard laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators. Active SECRET clearance is necessary, with the ability to obtain TS clearance.
Responsibilities:
Lead development teams in establishing requirements and conceptualizing communications system architectures. Guide the team through the preparation and presentation of system requirements reviews, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all aspects. Collaborate with design teams to confirm architecture and system design aligns with specified requirements. Prepare and deliver technical data at internal and customer reviews, articulating technical details and project progression. Utilize L3Harriss expertise and capabilities, exploring innovative applications for advanced solutions. Be prepared for potential travel up to 10% of the time to engage on-site with stakeholders and support various project requirements. Oversee the design and architecture of RF Systems for COMSEC and Information Assurance, ensuring technical compliance. Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept development to system deployment and maintenance. Analyze and document system requirements, ensuring adherence throughout design and implementation. Manage the integration of system components and verify their cohesive functionality. Identify and mitigate potential risks during the systems lifecycle. Develop and enhance systems engineering processes to improve efficiency and quality. Engage with customers to understand needs and ensure system design meets their requirements. Innovate existing systems and resolve complex technical issues encountered during development phases. Conduct performance analysis and modeling to evaluate system behavior under varying conditions. Coordinate efforts with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
