Lead Full Stack Engineer

## About the Role We are building BranchOut, a next-generation career accelerator platform designed to bridge the gap between "tutorial hell" and production-ready experience. We focus on project-based learning and shipping real products. We are looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Developer to join as a Technical Co-Founder and help scale our infrastructure, refine our user-facing dashboards, and build out a seamless application ecosystem. ## Responsibilities - End-to-End Development: Lead the development of our web platform, scaling the existing React frontend and building out robust backend services. - Feature Shipping: Develop and refine core features, specifically our interactive user application dashboards and project management portals. - Payment Infrastructure: Manage and expand our dynamic pricing models and payment architecture using Stripe. - Technical Strategy: Make key decisions regarding database architecture, hosting, and performance optimization to ensure a smooth, professional user experience. - Team Leadership: As the platform grows, help establish engineering standards and eventually assist in onboarding future fellows and developers. ## Requirements - Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (specifically React). - Experience building and designing RESTful APIs and managing databases (SQL or NoSQL). - Previous experience integrating third-party APIs (Stripe, authentication providers, etc.). - A "builder" mentality: You care deeply about shipping products, clean UI/UX, and solving problems over just writing code. - The discipline to work remotely, manage your own time, and consistently hit development milestones. ## What We Offer - Co-Founder Title & Equity: Significant equity stake in a ground-floor startup. - Portfolio Impact: Build a massive, high-complexity, production-ready application that goes far beyond a standard resume project. - Flexible Remote Environment: As an unpaid/equity role, we respect your time.
