Requirements:
We bring 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. We have 2+ years of non-internship experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling for new and existing systems. We have 1+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl. We have hands-on programming experience with at least one software language. We have 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. We hold a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background.
Responsibilities:
We solve complex, unscripted technical problems and apply object-oriented design principles to large multi-tier systems. We design, launch, refactor, re-architect, deprecate, and implement large-scale cloud-based distributed services with low latency and high transaction volumes. We contribute across the full product lifecycle, using approaches such as service-oriented architecture, caching, load balancing, non-relational databases, microservices, sharding, n-tier architecture, cloud technologies, and map-reduce. We help improve team coding practices with a focus on quality and security. We clearly explain technical challenges and proposed solutions to non-technical stakeholders. We experiment with the technologies needed to deliver results. We work with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices. We use Test-Driven Development and Continuous Deployment. We collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers across multiple teams to build a new platform for supply chain optimization. We expand and enhance our supply chain systems to support emerging business initiatives. We automate third-party supply management systems and help drive inventory across our marketplaces.
