Survey and field operations
Role Overview
Our Social Surveys directorate is responsible for collecting the data for the social and economic surveys commissioned by government departments and other public bodies. You could be working in our contact centre, in our surveys team or as a field interviewer. Whatever your role, you will act as an important bridge between the Government and the people. Providing policy makers with up-to-date information allows them to keep in touch with the circumstances and opinions of the general public. This means that they can plan for future public services to meet the population’s needs.
Responsibilities
As a Field Interviewer carrying out official surveys, you will be our eyes and ears across the UK, helping to inform the Government about the state of the nation. Your role will be a combination of field visits to addresses to encourage households to complete our surveys and carrying out surveys in their homes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Our Field Force teams are based locally across the nation, working part time and flexibly throughout the week. So, wherever you live, there could be opportunities near you.
