Develop mechanical designs for circuit packs and optical plugs with high-density and thermal constraints; Create mechanical part and assembly designs and maintain design databases; Collaborate with systems, hardware, and operations teams to deliver products on time; Present technical design reviews for alignment with requirements and risk identification; Evaluate prototypes and first samples including developing First Piece Evaluation reports; Address sustaining needs for released products to resolve customer or manufacturing issues; Support mechanical platform cost reduction activities with electrical hardware and operations teams; Assess field issues and perform root cause analysis on failed components with supplier support
