Convert sales orders and forecasts into material requirements and production plans; Run and maintain MRP/ERP planning outputs; Manage inventory levels to target service and cost objectives; Place and follow up purchase orders with suppliers; Collaborate with procurement to qualify alternate suppliers; Facilitate interaction with Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, and other functions; Communicate production and material constraints to relevant teams; Prepare and maintain demand and supply reconciliation; Monitor key planning metrics and generate regular reports; Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes; Participate in SIOP meetings; Investigate root causes of planning failures and implement corrective actions; Maintain accurate master data in the ERP system; Lead and develop a team of planning specialists.
