Responsibilities
Lead system-level architecture planning including product configuration and functional partitioning; Drive definition of system requirements and interface specifications; Conduct architectural trade-off analysis balancing performance, cost, power, and scalability; Collaborate with EE, thermal, mechanical, BMC, and firmware architects; Evaluate RFQ/RFI requirements and generate competitive architecture proposals; Define system topologies, mechanical footprints, airflow design, and I/O mappings; Present and document concept proposals with block diagrams and risk evaluation; Coordinate platform-level integration strategies including MB placement and airflow optimization; Align system-level DFM/EMC/thermal reliability requirements; Lead creation of architecture decks and BoM-level feasibility plans; Drive internal and customer-facing design reviews.
