Drive execution of outside counsel management strategy and align on billing guidelines and performance metrics; Shape and evolve the 1-3 year strategy for outside counsel management and operational transformation; Participate in and project manage strategic planning and budgeting processes for outside counsel spend; Conduct spend benchmarking and market analysis to inform rate negotiations; Oversee reporting and analytics within Brightflag to deliver actionable spend insights; Manage invoice review, approval workflows, accruals, and budgeting processes; Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable to enhance system capabilities; Proactively engage with the legal operations community and vendor networks to identify best practices; Assist with vendor management and support the negotiation process; Contribute to and project manage legal projects; Support senior leaders in developing and implementing the legal department's strategic plan; Document processes and develop workflow diagrams to support operational improvements.
