Responsibilities
Assist with payroll and benefits accounting close process including journal entries for wages, bonuses, and commissions; Prepare and maintain payroll accruals for earned wages, PTO, and variable compensation; Reconcile payroll reports from Workday and third-party providers to the general ledger; Execute electronic payments including payroll funding, tax payments, and other disbursements (ACH, wires); Manage daily cash activity including monitoring bank balances and coordinating funding requirements; Investigate and resolve discrepancies between Workday, Cloudpay, and Netsuite; Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll processes including W-2 and 1099 preparation.
