Responsibilities
Act as senior technical escalation point for complex 2nd and 3rd line support tickets; Troubleshoot advanced Windows, Linux, and MacOS endpoint, server, and infrastructure issues; Support Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services; Manage and build virtual machines and ESXi hosts; Support migration to Proxmox hypervisor; Troubleshoot networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls; Support vulnerability remediation and patching using KACE, Qualys, and Domo; Investigate patch failures and resolve remediation issues with users; Support endpoint security processes using CrowdStrike; Monitor systems and alerts using Zabbix; Support backup and recovery processes using Commvault; Create and maintain documentation, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks in Confluence; Guide and support less senior team members and Desktop Support Engineers
