Founder's Associate Intern / Working Student – Enterprise Sales & Outbound
About the Role
An early-stage B2B SaaS company in the procurement AI space is looking for a driven Founder's Associate Intern / Working Student to join the founding team in Berlin. You'll work directly with the CEO to build and execute the enterprise sales playbook from the ground up — running high-volume outbound outreach to procurement leaders at industrial manufacturers and helping develop the go-to-market engine.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone early in their career who wants to learn enterprise sales from first principles at a fast-moving startup. You will be expected to be based in Berlin and work primarily from the office (hybrid possible).
What You'll Do
• Run outbound outreach at scale across email and LinkedIn to fill the top of the pipeline with qualified enterprise conversations.
• Research target accounts from the ICP list and identify the right contacts and trigger events for timely outreach.
• Write personalized cold emails and LinkedIn messages aimed at procurement leaders at industrial manufacturers — in both German and English.
• Manage and execute multi-touch sequences and follow-ups to maximize reply and conversion rates.
• Track open rates, reply rates, and conversion metrics; run A/B tests to improve performance weekly.
• Enrich, maintain, and keep target account data clean and actionable in the CRM.
• Prepare meeting materials including competitive research, company briefings, and tailored one-pagers.
• Design and iterate on messaging experiments to inform the company's GTM playbook.
• Sit in on strategy discussions, product demos, and investor conversations to gain full context.
• Take on ad-hoc startup tasks such as event prep, partnership research, market analysis, or investor deck updates as needed.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
• Based in Berlin and available to work from the Kreuzberg office (hybrid allowed).
• Proven experience with outbound outreach at scale for enterprise customers — researching target accounts, crafting personalized messages, and managing multi-touch sequences (email + LinkedIn).
• Strong professional writing in both German and English — able to write a cold email in German to a Head of Procurement and an investor update summary in English.
• Current student or recent graduate in business, engineering, or a similarly rigorous field.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for data enrichment, outreach tracking, and pipeline hygiene.
• Comfortable taking on repetitive, high-standard work independently and iterating on outreach performance.
• Entrepreneurial mindset — evidence of building, organizing, or starting something (club, side project, startup, etc.).
• Willingness to learn fast and take on whatever the company needs in a startup environment.
Nice to have:
• Some exposure to procurement processes or procurement domain knowledge.
• Experience or interest in B2B enterprise sales or AI software.
Location
• Berlin, Germany (Kreuzberg) — on-site, hybrid possible.
• Candidates must be based in Berlin and available to work from the office regularly.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Compensation & Details
• Internship / Working Student position.
• Compensation details to be discussed during the interview process.
• High exposure to all areas of an early-stage startup — sales, strategy, product, and fundraising.
