Responsibilities
Support SW Design Engineers in development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improving software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment; Triage mechanical, electrical and software bugs; Manage escalation calls with SW team and customers; Work with QA / Support team to add replicated bugs to regression; Work with customers to write correct specs for features and help with fixing bugs and develop small features; Investigate & troubleshoot internal and external inquiries, questions and problem reports; Participate in system design teams; Perform on-site service at various customer locations, primarily in cleanroom environments; Troubleshooting complex, microprocessor-controlled electromechanical systems; Providing tool-down repair support in complex situations; Delivering comprehensive and timely service reports
