Responsibilities
Analyze bid packages and develop detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes; Perform takeoffs and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and isometric drawings; Conduct site walks and client walkthroughs to validate scope and conditions; Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, and field electricians to validate constructability; Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to confirm product specifications and pricing; Specify and source electrical materials; Manage vendor quotes and delivery planning; Ensure estimates reflect realistic installation methods and field constraints; Apply NEC/NFPA 70 and OSHA standards; Incorporate safety considerations such as LOTO and arc flash.
