Access Control & IoT Integration Engineer

## About the Role Nutrimate is a health-tech startup focused on AI-powered fitness, nutrition, and wellness solutions. We are building a smart gym ecosystem that integrates mobile applications, access control systems, IoT devices, and cloud infrastructure to create a seamless member experience. We are looking for an Access Control & IoT Integration Engineer to design, install, integrate, and maintain gym access control systems using QR scanners, biometric devices, RFID readers, WiFi relays, magnetic locks, and cloud-connected applications. ## Key Responsibilities - Install and configure QR code scanners, biometric devices, RFID readers, WiFi relays, and magnetic locks. - Integrate hardware devices with cloud APIs and backend systems for member validation and attendance tracking. - Implement offline access mechanisms with local credential storage. - Configure QR and NFC-based access through mobile applications. - Set up RFID-based access for staff and guest passes. - Ensure proper wiring, power supply management, and safety compliance. - Troubleshoot hardware, networking, firmware, and software integration issues. - Support deployment and maintenance across gym locations. ## Required Skills - Experience with access control systems including QR, RFID, biometric, and NFC technologies. - Hands-on experience with ESP32-based controllers, WiFi relays, and magnetic locks. - Knowledge of REST APIs, MQTT, Webhooks, and cloud integration. - Strong electrical wiring and installation skills. - Understanding of networking, routers, and internet connectivity. - Ability to work closely with mobile app and backend development teams. ## Preferred Qualifications - Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field. - 2–5 years of experience in IoT, automation, access control, or security systems. - Experience with SmartElex, eSSL, ZKTeco, Matrix, HID, or similar products. - Experience in CCTV or security system installation is an added advantage.
