## About the role
We're building an all-in-one legal intelligence platform to reimagine the $350B enterprise legal market. We grow 10x in recent months. As we rapidly scale the platform and our customer base, you will be part of our early engineering team, will own core systems, and ship production features daily.
## What we're looking for
- We work 60+ hours/week.
- 0-7 year of experiences. Early stage startup or ex-founder experience is required for this role. Welcome dropout students / hustler to apply.
- Proficient in Python / Typescript.
- Familiarity with serverless infrastructure and LLM prompt engineering.
- Previous search and ranking experience (huge plus).
- Experience with Elasticsearch / document-heavy systems and OCR/document parsing (huge plus).
## What you'll do
- Build and scale search & ranking systems.
- Develop next generation agentic AI legal workflow.
- Work closely with product engineers to translate customer needs into features, we SHIP DAILY.
- Work on AI pipelines, OCR, and RAG.

## Salary and Benefits
- $110K–$200K base + equity, full medical benefits, 401(k), flexible PTO — final salary depends on interview and year of experiences.
## Interview process

- 2 conversations with the CTO / CEO (no coding interviews, 45 min each).
- Final step: either a paid 1-day in-person collaboration session in SF (weekends possible) or a paid 1–4 week work trial (flexible duration; may end early if both sides reach a decision; remote okay). We prefer candidates choose the longer work trial, as it best reflects real-world coding and can see if we have a mutual fit.
