## About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager who operates like an owner, not a coordinator. This role sits at the center of delivery, client management, engineering execution, and AI-native operations.
You will work closely with founders, engineers, designers, QA, and clients to ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and at a consistently high quality bar. You should be equally comfortable running sprint cadences, translating ambiguous business requirements into execution-ready tickets, and building AI-driven workflows that improve delivery efficiency.
This is a hands-on execution role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and can independently drive outcomes across multiple accounts.

## Key Responsibilities
### 1. Delivery & Sprint Operations
- Own sprint planning, backlog management, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release coordination.
- Drive execution cadence across pods and ensure predictable delivery.
- Maintain accurate status reporting, delivery tracking, risk logs, and stakeholder communication.
- Control scope proactively and prevent delivery drift.
- Surface blockers early and ensure timely resolution.
### 2. Business-to-Technical Translation
- Convert founder ideas, business requirements, and client requests into clear engineering-ready specifications and tickets.
- Ensure product intent is preserved without overcomplicating scope.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to align execution with business priorities.
### 3. AI-Native Workflow Building
- Build and deploy AI-driven workflows, prompts, agents, and analysis pipelines to improve delivery operations.
- Identify repetitive operational tasks and automate them wherever possible.
- Use AI tools hands-on to accelerate documentation, reporting, sprint analysis, and workflow management.
### 4. Technical & Engineering Collaboration
- Read and understand codebases at a high level.
- Participate meaningfully in architecture and technical discussions.
- Identify inconsistencies, risks, or technical gaps during delivery conversations.
- Work effectively with engineering teams without becoming a bottleneck or micromanager.
### 5. Engineering Metrics & Operational Excellence
- Track and improve engineering delivery metrics including:
- Deploy Frequency
- Lead Time
- Change Failure Rate
- MTTR
- Bug Escape Rate
- Maintain strong delivery quality standards across accounts and pods.

- Own client accounts end-to-end from onboarding to delivery continuity.
- Run weekly client updates, monthly retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
- Build strong founder/client relationships beyond formal meetings.
- Anticipate issues before escalation and communicate proactively.
- Identify upsell, renewal, and expansion opportunities for Tequity.
- Deliver difficult updates transparently while maintaining trusts.
### 7. Cross-Functional Pod Coordination
- Coordinate execution across engineering, design, and QA teams.
- Lead without relying on direct reporting authority.
- Support the pod actively instead of managing from a distance.
- Ensure accountability, alignment, and smooth collaboration across functions.
### 8. Stakeholder Persuasion & Negotiation
- Drive alignment on scope, timelines, quality standards, and technical debt allocation.
- Negotiate priorities effectively while balancing delivery constraints and business goals.
- Influence clients and internal teams using data, trust, and execution credibility.
## Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Delivery Management, or Technical Program Management roles.
- Strong understanding of Agile and sprint-based delivery operations.
